Probably been asked a million times...14 weeks and dreaming of feeling her move. she's very bouncy and wiggly on the scans so hoping it might be a bit earlier than average!

ElizaDoolots · 02/08/2021 18:03

Can’t remember exactly but definitely after 20 weeks with my first

Horehound · 02/08/2021 18:04

23 weeks with first.

15 weeks with current # 2

3womeninaboat · 02/08/2021 18:05

14w. Sitting very still I felt movement that I knew wasn’t coming from me. Very low-lying placenta though.

MistyFrequencies · 02/08/2021 18:05

18 weeks.

8dpwoah · 02/08/2021 18:09

20 ish weeks with my first, it depends where your placenta is as well. I had an anterior last time so was well cushioned but with this one it's posterior and the difference in intensity of movements is unreal! I think I felt this one about 15 weeks but as PPs have said you do tend to feel the second earlier, unless you've got a big wodge of a placenta in the way I guess 😂

CTR1000 · 02/08/2021 18:14

20 weeks with a posterior placenta!

89redballoons · 02/08/2021 19:14

16 weeks with my first. My mum also says she felt me moving at 16 weeks!

shivawn · 02/08/2021 19:14

18 weeks for tiny flutters. Posterior placenta.

Anterior placenta - 23 weeks

lockdownbabyx · 02/08/2021 19:49

Around 17-18 weeks I felt flutters, couldn't be sure it was baby or wind at the time! Felt the first proper kick the night before my 20 week scan. I'm now 27 weeks and the movement is pretty much constant, feel him doing somersaults as I'm typing this 😂

zeromango · 02/08/2021 19:58

First baby was 24 weeks due to anterior placenta. Second baby one started feeling around 15/16 weeks but sadly at 18 weeks can't feel anything now! Hoping to very soon, midwife heard the heartbeat on Friday so she thinks he's just moved somewhere I can't feel him Sad

TakeYourFinalPosition · 02/08/2021 19:59

Flutters from 19 weeks but rarely, and the type that can easily be mistaken for something else most of the time…

I’m 20+2 now with a high posterior placenta, and still not feeling strong kicks or anything. Apparently it’ll be in the next four weeks.

Flutterby8 · 02/08/2021 20:05

I felt something at about 19 weeks but assumed it was gas and didnt take much notice.
I can now feel more flutters and the odd kick (i assume they're kicks) from 21 weeks or so.
DH hasnt been able to feel anything yet, I think baby is very shy 😂

IveGotASongThatllGetOnYNerves · 02/08/2021 20:11

Can't remember exactly, bloody long time ago now. Probably 5 or 6 months.

Strokethefurrywall · 02/08/2021 20:16

21ish weeks with both babies. DH could feel kicks by touch from 22 weeks.

NoHeavenNoMore · 02/08/2021 20:19

16 weeks Smile
