Hi everyone,

Currently 35 weeks and stopped vaping when I got my BFP (was using 3mg juice and vaped pretty heavily)

Do you plan on taking habit back up when baby comes? As daft as it sounds I used to really enjoy vaping and got a lot of stress relief from it. Which may be useful in those first few weeks (disclaimer, would do outside only and not around baby)

I also vaped 3mg pretty heavily and I absolutely will not be starting again. I smoked before I found out I was pregnant with my first and then started again afterward and it was horrible being out with a baby with a fag in my hand. Don’t want to do that again and would prefer to be able to set a good example for my older kids.

Your choice though! X

I'm hoping that I'll be able to occasionally have a couple of cigarettes at a party (I love smoking more than almost anything else) but otherwise no.

Never went back to smoking after our 1st child.
Gave up drinking over 3 years ago too. Lifting heavy in the gym is my stress relief these days, I'm missing it as I stopped before turning 36wk and having an elcs next week so will be off a while after.

Thanks everyone, seems sensible to give up as once you go back it's so addictive!

@LittleGwyneth I feel exactly the same, even when I vaped I indulged in occasional social smoking and just love it, actually enjoy it more than alcohol at parties/pubs!

I vaped (3mg) all the way through my pregnancy and still do. However, if i'd stopped for 9 months I probably wouldn't start again x
