Newborn essentials for baby number 2?

Sling

If you have your kit from DC1 you won’t need much extra - you can just reuse 😊 I second a sling so baby can be happy while you run round after the other one. How old is your first? You might need a double buggy or buggy board & it’s worth getting a stash of cheap quiet activities like sticker books/ fuzzy felts/ mr potato head that DC1 can sit & do with you while you are feeding baby or while baby is asleep x

Little one isn't here yet but this is what I've got to see me through baby +toddler phase.

Sling and baby wearing hoodie and coat so I'll hopefully use it!

Bedside cot with movable guard to contain baby in case toddler needs me at night

Lots of activities I can do with toddler one or no handed while sitting on a sofa. Starting to get him into the activities on a sofa idea before baby arrives.

Mine boy will be 13 months when the 2nd arrives.

I am reusing all his clothes amd bedside cot and sling and am planning to/have bought:

New teats for bottles (reusing the actual bottles)

Double buggy at some point but will most likely use sling at first

Bought a new car seat for eldest so baby can use his current one as it's a bit small for eldest anyway

Face cloths and bath sponge for new baby and will keep separate

Bought the new baby his own Ollie the owl

Will get a new play mat as we used the original one for eldest to eat on and it's battered.

That's it for now but things could change once the baby actually comes.
