19 weeks, no movement, 2nd baby

So I felt my first move around 17 weeks. I was quite slim then, around a size 8 which I’ve heard can make a difference.

I was around a 12 before this pregnancy so not sure if that would make any difference. I was 19 weeks yesterday and feel no movement at all, not flutters or anything. Even if I lie down and keep still I just feel nothing.

I have my anomaly scan on Tuesday and starting to get myself convinced that it’s going to be bad news.

Am I being crazy? Did anyone else feel second babies later than first? Should I feel movement by now?

Little one has likely just changed position, they're still so small at 19 weeks. They say you may start to feel movements at this time, and then from 24 weeks they should have more of a pattern of movements.
If you're still worried tomorrow your midwife might see you to check heartbeat, or she may just say to wait until Tuesday for your scan.

I have a consultant appointment tomorrow anyway and I think I’ll see the midwife before it but not certain. I’ll definitely mention it at least and see if they’ll check since I’m there.

I keep trying to tell myself baby is still so little but I think I’m making myself crazy

I've had 5 babies and they've all moved at random times.
Dc1 felt at 16wks
Dc2 felt at 12wks
Dc3 felt at 19wks (anterior placenta)
Dc4 felt around 14wks
Dc5 felt around 24wks.

So massive range of difference.

All the best for your scan @xTinkerbell

Midwife listened in today and heartbeat sounded great so definitely feeling a bit more at ease.

Scan tomorrow now!

Could take up to 24 weeks to start feeling movement, try not to worry!
