Measured at 3.8mm but no heartbeat

Hi, went for a scan at EPU the other day. Have already posted but have been reading up on measurements etc.

They measured the CRL at 3.8mm.
My lMP 15th June, however didn’t ovulate until 3rd July.
Was scanned at 6+2 (LMP date) and shown Fetal pole at 3.8mm but no heartbeat, I’ve been booked in for a scan next week but would like to know if anyone has an knowledge on this or whether they’ve had early scans around similar time and have measurements so I can kind of compare and prepare myself! Thanks

Not so early but we had a scan at just over 7 weeks and we could only just about see the tiniest little flicker so it may be that it's just too early, hopefully good news when you go back🤞

I went for my 6 weeks 2 day scan and measured only 5 weeks same as you, and measurements were small , I got advised to go back in 10 days., all my pregnancy symptoms have basically gone so I went into my scan today thinking it was going to be bad news but it wasnt baby was there with a heart beat measuring 8weeks 2 days so I'm now 2 days a head of my calculated date I know it's really hard but try to not worry it's still early , I think the 6 week scan causes more anxiety that good , I hope you get to good news when you go back for a re scan,

@Mum2021xx yes there was a fetal pole with no heartbeat, when I spoke to the midwife/sister afterwards I was in bits, I said there is now way I'm behind on my dates because I track ovalation and bbt so I know I ovalated on cd14 and got a bfp 10days later , so its impossible to be a week behind, her reply was seeing a fetal pole is the first sign of a progressing pregnancy and not to worry because a 6 week scan may not show much, they only scanned me at 6+2 because I had a eptopic last year so it was more for visability to make sure it's in the right place. Do u have to go back in 10days? Because you will see alot more then and you should see heartbeat and measure close to your date, I know it's really hard but try n stay calm,

Thanks all for your messages, I went back yesterday and baby was fine and heartbeat was there! Measured 6+6 so my dates were off x
