Pains at 16 weeks :( hurts to even move

My pregnancy has been great so far but today I've got really sharp constant pains in my lower left tummy and it's been going for hours now. I've not had anything like this so really worried! Any advice would be great please as I'm starting to panic. It really hurts to move as well

If it’s really that bad you need to phone the hospital and be seen, no one can give you advice on here as each situation is completely different. I had pains at around that time which were just round ligament pains, but doesn’t mean yours are x

Good idea to take a urine sample so they can check for a UTI.

Definitely get checked. Do you have a temperature or any other symptoms?

Either go in or ring 111. It could be nothing, it might not be. You need checking over.

Have you been on your feet a lot lately? I had this with my twins and generally had to have a day in bed after a lot of walking/standing day before

I had this this week and was a UTI, so worth getting checked.

Thanks for all your replies! Maybe it's a good idea I do get checked over, even if just for peace of mind.

I had a day of walking around London yesterday so maybe that's what's done it. I had a nap earlier and haven't had any pain since so maybe it was from being so active yesterday. I have a midwife appointment on Monday so I will definitely mention it then
