Lazy baby - 31 weeks

Has anyone had a really lazy baby? 😂 I've had two instances of monitoring as haven't felt baby (ofc felt baby when was being monitored) and have now got fortnightly growth scans as a result. Baby measuring exactly where she should at growth scans and they've seen movement. But feel wriggling more than kicking, and not as often as I imagined I would! Have posterior placenta... just a lazy baby!

Mine has days where she barely moves still and I'm nearly 37w 🤣🙈. Been for monitoring twice aswell and she always starts doing the cancan in there as soon as the monitors are on! I have an anterior placenta but it has never really stopped me feeling movements so I still panic when I haven't felt her for several hours. I think she just tires herself being so active when she is awake she needs a massive nap after 😂

Yes - I had one too with a couple of trips for monitoring. He was just sleeping. You get on the monitor and they start performing an Olympic gymnastics floor routine and you feel like such a fool.

Do you know all the “tricks” to wake them up? Sugar, really cold water, sit still and pay attention, do some (gentle) exercise? Doesn’t always work but give it a try if you’re worried.

Keep going in if you need to though. Better safe than sorry. I was worried they’d think I’m a lunatic and not believe me but don’t think that happened with lazy baby (who is now lazy 4 year old)

Exactly the same here im 31 weeks and all scans and growth scans are fine, she moves on ctg montior and scans but she doesnt move much and shes a diva she hates being disturbed in anyway 😂 i also have a postierer placenta too. And not as many kicks now more movements and wriggling at the moment. I also feel that shes quite lazy baby. Been in for monitoring quite a few times since 25 weeks and every time she starts moving soon as im there.
