Sorry if this is a stupid one but I'm clueless!

I've packed a tankini and a couple of big nighties for labour/giving birth but what happens after that? Do I change back into normal clothes? PJs?

Thanks in advance!

Things I used after:

  • Button down nightie (easy access for breastfeeding), sleep bra, disposable underwear and little PJ shorts. That's what I changed into after my post-birth shower. I took my own shower gel and shampoo, and antiperspirant too. Oh and a towel turban for my hair.
  • Hair brush.
  • Snacks - I took one of my fave chocs which I ate once the carnage of birth was done haha before I even got a shower. Also had other snacks I think later that evening and the next day.
  • Paracetamol for pain relief once the diclofenac suppository wore off.
  • Loads of maternity pads, I loved the huge Lil Lets ones.
  • Another pair of disposable undies and a clean outfit to wear the next day, which is the day I went home.
  • Moisturiser.
  • DH bought me a magazine after I'd been moved to the ward which I read a bit of there.
  • Eye mask to help me sleep on the night I was on the ward - I always sleep with one at home as I'm very light sensitive.
  • Phone charger.
  • Flip flops for going around the ward.
  • Moisturiser.
  • Toothbrush and toothpaste
  • Breast pads
  • Lansinoh
  • Carrier bag for dirty clothes
