21 weeks anterior low placenta - movements

Hello
I am a FTM, I am 21+4 and at the 20 weeks scan all was good, they told me that my placenta is at the front and still a bit low, will check it again at 32weeks.

I am really struggling to feel movements, and when I do it is only during night and early morning before I get up. Is this normal? I just cannot feel anything during the day…

@cloud2021
I had my placenta at the front too. I didn't get the lovely visible movements on my skin until 28w. But as long as you feel your baby move within :)

Your placenta is actually quite small, so once you get bigger it won't take up your whole front xx

This is the second time the placenta is at the front for me. I'm 25 weeks and still don't feel much during the day! Its really frustrating because you can't help but worry.

I also had a low placenta with dd1. It moved by the 34 week scan. It's more likely it will move then not x

Thank you @cat709 @Bennetgirl This makes me feel better!! I keep trying to lie down to feel a bit more but it is so hard.. and yes difficult not to worry when other women same stage can feel much more than me!
Hopefully it won't be too long and my placenta will move up too xx

I have an anterior low placenta and i didn't feel real regular movements until about 28 weeks, I'm 32 weeks now and feel a lot more so just hang in there. My midwife advised it can be a lot later for anterior ladies.

My placenta moved up too at my 30 week scan! They look so real then so its a lovely bonus!

Thank you! Wow 28 feels ages away, but I will try and be happy to feel some night movements :) I was very happy to have an extra scan at 32 weeks, of course I hope the placenta will move by then, but I read that 9 in 10 do so I am trying to be positive!

I had the same and didn’t feel consistent movements until around 27/28 weeks

I have an anterior placenta and only started feeling movement from 23 weeks (25 weeks now). Some days I still get no movement and other days I get plenty 😊

I'm the same and also have to have another scan at 32 weeks. But I feel movement all the time. Even the flickers when she kicks me. X
