What was everyone's first signs of labour?

Contractions

Thought I needed a poo ... was actually her head

I was in the minority where it was waters breaking just like on TV

Inconsistent period cramps that intensified.

1. Water broke, 2 and 3 I woke up to very definite contractions.

TMI but .. an insanely itchy fanny, about 24-48 hours before it happened again the day after I conceived my 2nd so I’m assuming some kind of hormonal thing???

Woke up with contractions 5 minutes apart

I’ve had two babies and not had the dramatic TV water breaking 😒

I got to 10cm both times and then the midwife broke them. I think she was worried they’d burst in her face if I started pushing with them in tact.

Oh actually!
Both births, I was sooooooo angry in the few hours before the contractions.
Like, murderous angry for no reason at all!

So interesting to hear of everyone’s different stories! I am 38+4 today and a FTM so I feel like I am symptom spotting everyday right now!

Another who felt the need to do a massive poo!
