Is it normal for pregnancy symptoms to fluctuate at 6 weeks?

Hey everyone, first post on here (posted it on the wrong category before lol)

Apologies if this comes off as neurotic but as of today I am 6 weeks pregnant with my first and found out 6 days ago. I'm 26. I have always struggled with irregular periods and cysts which I have thankfully rectified with a combination of diet and exercise, resulting in a loss of 5 stone and conception of a little peanut! So needless to say I'm overthinking EVERYTHING owing to my past struggles!

Basically, I have been finding that my pregnancy symptoms fluctuate SO much on a day-by-day, hour-by-hour basis at the moment. For example, I will have stretches of the day where I feel incredibly nauseous, and then hours where I feel totally normal. My boobs will sometimes ache and feel super firm and then the pain will feel less severe, etc. The only symptom that has been consistent is extreme fatigue (my partner and I run our own business and I have fallen asleep twice on my break, in the middle of the day!). I have had no bleeding or spotting, I've taken 7 preg tests from different brands which have came back stronger every time, and I am producing quite a lot of white odourless discharge.

Is this fluctuation something to be concerned about? Or do I just need to relax? As this is my first, I guess I'm just looking for second opinions from people more knowledgeable than myself. I have no friends irl that are pregnant right now so I don't have anybody to talk to about all this stuff! Thanks in advance!

Fluctuating symptoms is fine and normal. What can be a concern is if symptoms go away altogether.

@BlueSurfer thank you, I woke up with no nausea and less sore boobs this morning and went into panic mode. Still no nausea and boobs still the same but I'm going to put that down to me getting a lot of good sleep last night, hopefully everything is OK!

Symptoms can fluctuate so don’t worry! I asked my midwife the same question when I was around 6/7 weeks and basically she said that some women have absolutely no symptoms, some have symptoms that come and go and others feel like death constantly. There’s no right or wrong and also symptoms disappearing isn’t an automatic cause for concern either!! Some bodies just adjust quicker to the change in hormones. If you’re worried of course speak to your midwife but just try and enjoy being pregnant ❤️

Thank you for your reassuring response! I'm a natural worrier anyway so I feel like I'm worrying on steroids at the moment 🤣 I actually only self-referred on Thursday to the midwifery unit and have received no correspondence since, so I actually don't have a midwife atm to talk to! Patiently waiting for my letter to arrive!

Update: took another test this morning as I had worried myself sick and a strong line appeared in about 10-15 seconds! Trying my best to relax but it's so hard!
