18 weeks, nosebleeds? (tmi warning, pic included!)

I'm 18 weeks and this morning I woke with my nose pouring with blood. Passed a clot and it stopped. About half hour ago it started pouring again and 4 long clots came out. I know nosebleeds can be a pregnancy symptom but is this many in one day normal and with clots? I am on aspirin so should I be worried?

I have had the terrible nosebleeds with two of my three pregnancies. Exactly as you describe them, terrible and with really big clots. I started being very careful about blowing my nose or even touching it.

Although it was unnerving, it was harmless every time and caused me no problems other than the occasional discarded top.

I got horrific ones all through pregnancy with DS. Wasn't an issue. If you're concerned I'd speak with your GP though.

@Dogsandbabies thank you! It was definitely a bit of a scare and my anxiety is already insane with this being my rainbow haha but yeah I don't feel unwell or anything so it probably is nothing to worry about, just unnerving like you say. The joys!

I had exactly the same with my first pregnancy. Horrific nosebleed that always ended with a massive clot! Never worked out why and it hasn't happened in either of my other pregnancies so put it down to one of those weird symptoms!

Yes I had this in my first pregnancy and it was really unnerving as there was so much blood and it wouldn’t stop for ages! I had big clots too!

This pregnancy it hasn’t happened.

Thank you all! What a lovely dignified symptom 😏😂
