Fetal heart rate 116 at 6w

Anyone got any success stories?

I'm under a recurrent miscarriage specialist who scanned at 6+2 this morning but said the heart rate is a bit slow at 116 "which is worrying".

I know this probably will become my 5th loss, but hoping for a miracle!

Has anyone had a good outcome from a similar heart rate?

I'm at a recurring miscarriage clinic in the Netherlands (I moved this year from the UK) and here they don't measure the heartbeat at such an early stage. Also at my last scan at 8w4d they just looked at the heart beating on the scan and said that's fine- no measurements were taken at all. If you look at the average fetal heartbeat it's 110- 160 so then you are within the normal rate especially at such an early stage (see www.whattoexpect.com/pregnancy/fetal-development/fetal-heart-heartbeat-circulatory-system/) I read that for many women at 6 weeks it's still too early for a heartbeat so they advice a scan only at week 7. I have to say the specialist here are very cautious in terms of giving false hope- to the point they sound a bit negative. Could this be the case for you? He/she does seem to be giving you extra stress. I hope it works out for you! Xx

Thank you @Matilda128 that's good to hear. I'll keep my fingers crossed.
