Can you loose your mucus plug at 14 weeks?

Sorry, I'm probably being super paranoid and will cal my midwife tomorrow but after such a worrisome IVF pregnancy so far which I lost a twin at 9 weeks it's hard to relax. I'm nearly 14 weeks and last night for the first time since March we DTD (we had to abstain before and during IVF). Everything was fine after but this evening when I went to the toilet when I wiped I had a large, really thick yellow-ish blob of mucus. It was about the thickness of a pencil and about 3-4" long and a real jelly like consistency which was hard to break (sorry TMI!). I've had a discharge for the last few weeks but that has been totally different and what I passed today looked so much like my mucus plug I lost when I had my DS many years ago. Is it possible for this to happen and is that okay? Or could it just be from DTD?

I always get an increase in snotty discharge after having sex OP, it's happened in all 3 of my pregnancies 🙂

@Missmonkeypenny thank you for a quick reply 🙏 Oh really? I never had that on my previous pregnancy. I've spent all evening wishing we hadn't DTD now!

It sounds like PP had similar from sex, so it could easily just be that..

But I'm 100% certain that triage would be happy to chat to you about this, just incase Flowers
