Cramping at 12+3 - any positive stories?

Just that, really. Last night, I had these really intense, painful cramps that were so bad that I thought I must be having a miscarriage. But after about an hour they started to subside and there's been no blood. But all today I've had milder cramps, but there enough to make me feel them and occasionally grimace. Has anybody else had cramping at this stage and had everything work out ok? I can't help but feel convinced that I must be miscarrying.

Oh, and I should say that I already have a scan booked for this week at the end of the week. They told me just to go for that unless the cramps get worse or there is bleeding. While I am glad the cramps are still mild and so far there hasn't been blood, it feels like such a long time until the end of the week to wait to know what's happening.

I’ve had cramps in all my pregnancies. I think it’s normal and no bearing on the health of the baby.

I've had pretty strong cramping all the way through
I'm 21 weeks now

Thank you! I guess the really intense ones scared me.

Yep mine come and go, I figure my body is seriously objecting to the imposition 😂
