Hi all is it safe to have local anesthesia in pregnancy. To extract a molar tooth ?

Are extractions safe ?

i have a root canaled tooth causing a lot of pain i am 28 weeks pregnant.

i am really scared please can someone comment .

Dentist here. Yes. Absolutely fine. Safer than risking untreated dental infections in pregnancy. Do this frequently. Never had an issue.

I had a wisdom tooth out while pregnant.. Just a few needles and absolutely no pain. Even managed a cheese sandwich a few hours later!

Yes I needed root canal while 27 weeks pregnant. Stressed myself out about it totally. It was all ok. Didn’t even take that long! So glad I got it sorted! Tooth pain is the worst. Good luck!

It's upper molar 6 with the root canal.

i just want everything to be baby safe
