Was nub theory right for you?

Just wondering! I’m analysing my 12w scan and the nub (if I’ve seen correct) is opposite to what I think I’m having! And also hope I’m having

So yes - has nub theory been right/wrong for you?

Nope, I sent mine off to three companies, 2 told me it was a boy, and one a girl. I'm having a girl...
They also say you should be 12+5 or over for it to be accurate and I was 13+1

Yes @awjwjwueiwj, at 12+6 two companies told me a girl and were very certain. Scans since have confirmed it's a girl!

I’ve sent mine off to two one said 85% girl one said 90% boy, will have to wait a couple of weeks to find out!

Nub theory is actually very accurate. I'm on a few Facebook groups and rarely do you see it being wrong. The times when it is "wrong" is when the image of the nub isn't very clear an educated guess is made. But if you have a good picture of it and at the right gestation then it's pretty good. My DS's nub was so clearly male. You can post the pic if you want some opinions?

Yep right both times for me. It does have to be a clear not blobby photo though

LH1987 · 17/07/2021 17:28

Yes it was right for me, but then it’s 50:50 chance 😀

redboardblue · 17/07/2021 17:33

Correct for me, was so obviously a male nub and he is a boy!

Nope. Predicted girl at 12+6, had a gender scan at 28wks and found out I was having a baby boy!
