Im 29 weeks and tested positive on a lateral flow today. Have taken a pcr test just waiting for results. I'm feeling generally unwell, exhausted and have a slight cough. Temp is 37.9. My anxiety however is through the roof. I've had one vaccine back in May and was due my second tomorrow but obviously can't have it now! Has anyone else had covid around this point in pregnancy and how did you get on? How long did symptoms last?

Sorry op, no real advice but didn’t want to read & run

Having one vaccine should help , although obviously annoying to miss out on tomorrow’s !
I’m sorry you’re feeling poorly, I don’t think it’s at all unreasonable to be anxious, but most people do have mild symptoms if they have no other health conditions
Give you midwife a call in the morning; they’re probably best to advise or to signpost you to someone qualified to help Flowers

I’m 32 weeks found out positive on Monday. Had temp, sweating then freezing, cough etc. Spoke to midwife who said drink loads and to try and move around as higher risk of clotting. I’ve had no appetite but trying to pack my body with nutrients with various juices etc

Not 29 weeks but had it around 33 weeks. Started off just general illness but within few days had fever which wouldn’t come down, extreme fatigue, vomiting, headache. Two weeks of bed rest and I was fine. Baby is now 11 weeks and he’s fine.
