Sorry about a negative post but need some support/experience. My first pregnancy/birth was easy - spontaneous labour at 38+0. This pregnancy is..... complicated! Am more than a week overdue and I cannot take it anymore. Tried every trick in the book apart from castor oil and balsamic vinegar. Dreading induction...

My third was late, 16 days in the end! I fought induction but it was actually fine! I had the drip with no epidural and it was no different to spontaneous labour.

I wish I’d had an induction sooner now. Good luck x

Had 3 inductions with 3 babies at 41w5d. Not fun..... wait if you can Wink once you get to 42 weeks they won't let you wait anymore. Until then, it should be seen as normal.

You remember how it is! Just rest as much as possible until the contractions kick in

Good luck Thanks

aww, you poor thing.

have a good cry. have a proper tantrum.
scream, twist & shout.
release all that pent up negative energy, stress, anger etc.

you'll feel better and you might even get labour going - stress releases hormones that are counterproductive to getting the labour hormones going.
that's why so many people who go into labour and rush to hospital have to go home, the sudden panic & anxiety can stop the labour process.

orgasms are very useful too for the same reason.

best of luck!
