BFP but feel like AF is coming?

I got a BFP today at 11DPO and this afternoon it feels like AF is coming. Cramping in my lower left side!! Is this normal?

Congratulations. yes completely normal. I felt like period was coming until I was about 10 weeks - now 30 weeks

It was for me, totally confused me as I felt like my period was coming for the first 12 weeks!!

Yes same here! It felt like my period was coming for weeks.

I actually had my “period” for two months running when I was pregnant (unknowingly) all normal cramping that was expected to. No wonder I didn’t find out until gone 8 weeks 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m now 11 weeks :)

Yup. Before I knew I was pregnant I had what felt exactly like period cramps. Didn't really think I was pregnant as I wasn't particularly trying really hard that month as I was busy and worn out from work so must have conceived at the one chance I had haha. Was really confused as each time I went to the toilet there was never any bleeding and at one point I was at work, so convinced I was about to start I went to the toilet and put a period pad in but nothing ever happened. Turns out it was early pregnancy cramps

Congratulations! I felt the same for weeks

Congrats!! I got a BFP on weds (13 DPO) and I posted this exact post in the conception forum! I’m still getting dull period like pains pretty much constantly, it’s really worrying but makes me feel better that it seems quite common :)

Yes completely normal! I had horrendous cramps; like I was going to have a period from hell, but it never came. They finally eased off at 9 weeks x

Hello I was just looking for a similar thread as I am experiencing period like cramps and I’m 6+4. Every time I go to the toilet I hold my breath and hope for no blood because some of the cramps really feel quite strong! Relieved to see other people experience this! I had a miscarriage 10 years ago and don’t remember the cramps coming until way after the bleeding started.
