Don’t know when to book an early reassurance scan

Hi all me again, I want to book an early reassurance scan, there’s two places I can go, one that does them from 6 weeks and one that does them from 8 weeks, only problem is I don’t know what date to book it for as I got pregnant straight after a miscarriage without a period so I don’t really know exactly when I conceived, my miscarriage started June 3rd, stopped bleeding June 10th and levels went under 5 on June 15th, so I just track going by the first day I started bleeding during my miscarriage? Any help/advice would be much appreciated, also do you recommend an early reassurance scan? Reason I want to get one is because last time they couldn’t see anything in my uterus but I’m nearly sure it was because I passed the baby before I went into hospital for scans

@Ruby2328 Thank you! Keep me posted your end too 🙏🏻 I'm sorry for loss - you're right it feels very different this time. Last time I got my BFP I cried with elation, and this time I feel like that emotion has been robbed from me because I feel very cautious, like I can't get excited. All I will say, is that the odds of having a miscarriage again, so two back to back are very low 🤞🏻🤞🏻♥️ xxx

@Ell17 omg exactly how I’m feeling too! You just feel so robbed of the whole experience and you don’t even want to get excited incase things go wrong, it’s an awful feeling, I pray we have healthy babies 🤞❤️Xx

@Ruby2328 Yes! Constantly second guessing every feeling/thought. Yep I'm praying too everything is tickedy-boo as it should be 🤞🏻🙏🏻 xx

From reading threads here, these scans are the opposite of reassuring for a lot of posters that go too early. Mine was at around 9.5 weeks.

@Ell17 I keep checking everything I use the bathroom for blood it’s horrible 😭 please god everything’s okay xx

@shivawn yeah a lot of people say if you go too early it can cause even more stress if a heart beat can’t be detected

@Ruby2328 Same here! 😭 I've also stopped testing. Last time I kept testing and even though I'd had a big bleed at the start of the miscarriage, my tests were getting stronger. So there's no point for me worrying about progression xx
