I don't know if anyone has any advice for me but at the very least it would be nice to know i'm not alone.

I feel like absolute shit, to be honest. Every day I wake up completely drained and feeling just horrid. I feel nauseous, gag constantly at any little wiff of something even if it's not a bad smell. I can't eat because I am so painfully bloated that putting anything else in causes it to be much worse. Anything I do put in has a risk of being brought back up any of the thousands of times I gag over the day. I'm so weak and ill and tired that I can barely focus, and even working from home I had to take time off work this week. I am dreading having to work on-site next week as wearing a mask, traveling and again, smells (work in a hospital on and off wards) make me vomit.

I cannot remember feeling this horrific with my two other pregnancies. Even with morning sickness I could still work through both. At a minimum I could actually wake up and function and run a household. This time I have sat on the sofa and done nothing or I get too weak and need a nap!

Is there anything at all that I can do to help? I have ordered peppermint tea, Charcoal tablets, Vitamin C and D to go with the folic acid (the combination like pregnacare makes me vomit instantly, even with food).

I just want to feel well enough to function :(

Hi OP

No suggestions sadly as I'm in the same boat (minus the gagging and being sick) so just wanted to let you know you're not alone.

I'm 24 weeks and feel incredibly weak, ill and tired too. I just can't put my finger on why. I'm taking lots of vitamins already. It doesn't feel like 'just pregnancy' and I've had 3 others so would remember feeling like this.

@Drainedbeyondbelief thank you Flowers it's an awful feeling isn't it! I am sorry you are going through the same. I am also convinced this has to be down to something else. I'm 9 weeks and hoping it will pass way before I get to 24 weeks!

Hoping that the vitamins etc help or if anything is wrong it gets picked up at the first proper appointment. Even did a covid test to rule it out which is negative.
