I just don’t feel pregnant - is that alright??

I’m 16 weeks with second baby (although has two miscarriages at 6 and 10 weeks between DD5 and current.

First trimester I was quite tired and had a huge appetite, mildly nauseous but that was it. Very lucky I know. 12 week scan absolutely fine.

But since about 14 weeks, I don’t feel pregnant. A switch flipped. I don’t feel bloated, I don’t have a big appetite, I can’t put my finger on it but I just don’t feel pregnant at all. Not one bit. Totally normal. Unequivocally so.

Am I over thinking it? Or do you think my gut is trying to tell me something? Im trying to stay rational but at the same time I remember what two miscarriages was like and im so scared of being told I’ve lost the heartbeat again.

Anyone else experiencing the same zero-pregnancy symptom?

I was the same pretty much all the way through my second trimester. I'm 34 weeks now and feeling very pregnant and uncomfortable so I'd say make the most of it, I think the second trimester is the best for lots of women.

You're bound to be anxious after having been through miscarriages in the past so try not to worry but speak to your midwife if you need to Flowers

I was the same with DS, paid for a private scan at 16 weeks as just didn't feel pregnant, also he was fine but our 12 week scan was pretty traumatic so it was nice to have a positive one. Now 15 weeks pregnant and again just feel nothing - although am already showing! I had 3 losses before this baby so I know how hard it is to trust your body and not worry, but just wanted to say it is normal!

Yep, more than alright. I was the same and very thankful for it!

I felt like this until I felt DS move at 25 weeks. Even after my 20 week scan I was panicking because everyone else I spoke to had felt movements earlier than me. Feeling him move made it feel real

I had a while in my pregnancy (after two MCs) where I just didn't feel pregnant any more. It was so bizarre. I also had a point where I would wake up completely forgetting I was pregnant and this was a little later on, can't remember exactly when.

Forgot all about it until your post but it was the strangest thing.

Laid here with my 4 month old snoring in their bed next to me.

Yep, with DD2. Didn’t feel pregnant the whole way through. She’s 12 now.

I'm 16 weeks pregnant tomorrow and apart from a big tummy (third baby) I wouldn't know I was pregnant at all. I just feel fine. I have booked a private scan for reassurance for 18 weeks and also because my husband can't make my 20 week scan due to work commitments.
