6 weeks 4 days pregnant and cramping

Hi just wondering if I can have some reassuring comments on my cramps I have been getting since finding out I am pregnant

Ive become a little anxious as with my first child (12 years ago) 😱 .. so prob too long ago to even compare properly, but I never got cramps with him it was a smooth sailing journey

With this pregnancy I’m cramping so bad it feels like stabbing pains Mostly at night then sometimes during the day the pain can also change to a dull ache
I’ve got to the point now where I have convinced my self it’s ectopic
When I wee it’s been hurting the doctor did a wee sample and it came back fine but didn’t check into anything further
I don’t have many pregnancy symptoms I feel sick only in the morning for half n hour and my boobs are sore
My midwife appointment is in a week and a half which feels like forever away and I can hopefully let her ease my mind with my concerns
If anyone has had any similar pains and it’s all been totally fine it would be very reassuring to hear

I'm 27 weeks today and feel like I had cramps for the whole of the first trimester! I was the same in thinking it was ectopic so I booked an early scan for some extra reassurance to check everything was progressing as it should! Cramps are 100% normal though cause there's so many new things going on in there! X

I hate that I’m jumping to the worst case scenario but when these cramps keep popping it’s hard to not think about
I was thinking of paying for an early scan just to ease my mind
That’s so true so much is happening in my uterus right now I will try to relax until my. Is wide appointment

Cramping is very normal,It's just things stretching. The symptoms you describe are pretty standard for this stage too however the pain when you wee would make me think I UTI might be brewing so I'd go back about that one. May have been too early to show at last test
