Hi,

I'm 34 weeks pregnant. Have been on holiday in Wales for a week, lots of walking and probably done a bit more physical exercise than I usually do.

Last night I became really hot, queasy and had the urge to have a BM. I've been the toilet frequently since last night. Baby was breech but my bump seems to have dropped and my hips are really painful.

Baby is moving regularly, I'm having cramps and really bad nausea (as though I've got a stomach bug) the cramps are also in my mid-lower back.

I've had no waters or any activity to suggest mucus plug. I lost some of it last week but it wasn't bloody and I was told that was normal.

My temp is 37.3 a little warmer for me but obviously nothing not.

Haven't puked yet but the cramps bring on the nausea and I can't eat. I can barely walk without cramps, they're nothing like menstrual cramps which is making me think it's just a bug.

I don't know whether to go in or not. My midwife has gone on long term sick leave so I've left a message with community midwives.

Any suggestions?

I have a csection booked, this is second baby but I've never had labour so I don't know what to expect

Call up your maternity unit and get checked over x

I think you need to get looked at. It could be a stomach bug but also early labour. Given baby was breech you defo don’t want go risk it xx

You need to be checked out for labour and uti as a minimum.

How are you getting on?

wjg65ka · 09/07/2021 18:33

@ShowOfHands they just said to keep an eye on things, as long as there's no waters or contractions it'll probably be a bug Sad
