Postpartum vaginal soreness… normal or could it be an infection?

I’m 2 weeks postpartum and am still very sore down there, particularly when standing or walking, or when on the toilet. Sorry in advance for these TMI descriptions… When standing it feels like there’s a really heavy weight in my vagina pulling it down to the floor and when on the toilet it almost feels like both sides have been stitched together and are being torn apart - particularly sore when sitting for longer than a quick pee.

I do think I have thrush and I am going to phone the doctors tomorrow morning for a same day appointment to be checked out but thought I’d just ask on here if anyone has experienced anything similar and if this is relatively normal post birth soreness or if this could be an infection as well.

I also think the bleeding has increased in the last few days and I am passing more clots than I did last week or in the few days after birth. I had vaginal lacerations that needed sutured.
