I'm 11+5 and for the last couple of days, my lower back has been very uncomfortable. I struggle to get comfortable at night and not sure what I can do this early on as I know it's just going to get worse..... isn't it? :(

Do you have one of thise long U-shaped pregnancy pillows? That has helped me alot. Also a mrmory foam mattress topper if your mattress is quite firm.

Your retroverted uterus normally flips to the anteverted (normal position) by 12 weeks. This is what happened to me last pregnancy

I had a lot of lower back pain around then. I have axial Uterus so it doesn't lean forward like 'normal' but not back either. I'm 24 weeks now and it's not problem.

I think once you grow and your bump pops out it's the same as any other pregnancy.

It will improve, it will move forward as baby grows and take the pressure off a bit.

I have a bad retroverted uterus that has got worse with large pregnancies but it's not been too bad. I'm 34+2 now with a big baby, have spd and osteoarthritis too but can still lift heavy in the gym and my back copes.

Thanks all. Feeling hopeful that it will get better soon!
