6+1 no fetal pole, possible 4th miscarriage

I'm looking for a success stories. Went to EPU yesterday because of brown discharge which has now stopped, told not fetal pole, she saw some kind of line coming off the yolk sac, but said she wasn't sure. Another scanned book for 12th. I have had three consecutive miscarriages. This was a natural conception following failed second IVF cycle in May. I have had three transfers, 2 IVF cycles, TTC for 4 years. I just feel like someone is having a joke, this was obviously a surprise to fall naturally after such a long time, but it seems to go the way my first natural pregnancy went - also had a scan at 6+1, with yolk sac no baby, then I had some quite tight, period cramping for a while but no bleeding scan at 8 weeks showed missed miscarriage but no baby to be seen in the sac. Now I'm having similar pain to what I can remember. I'm just so sad. I want this to work out but how. I'm tired.

@Sunny56 really sorry for your losses. Are you sure on your dates? I really hope it works out for you. I’ve had 2 miscarriages now (from IVF) and I have unexplained infertility so natural conception is possible. Have you had any investigations? Xx

Really sorry to hear of your previous losses. 6+1 is still early and quite possible not to see a fetal pole at this stage. I would say it's probably 50/50 seeing one at this stage. Also if you are off on your dates even by a day or two that can make a big difference as well. Good luck for your next scan x

hi i m 8 week pregnant at 6 week no fetal start bleed wit 1 clot on 6 week 3 day thought i miscarage but bleed stop when i passed clot and next day doctor gave me urgent ultrasound there was fetal and heart beat they can't messure hurt beat it still too early but still there is heart beat know i m 8 week 4 day pregnant 3 day before have ultrasound have baby heart beat 161 still sometime have little brown or pinkish spotting but doctor said everything look good she can't see any blood in uterus baby look good hope my story relax your mind

I'm sure with my LMP. I have had bloods taken regarding my miscarriages, but all came back normal. So I'm at loss. They were very basic tests, like thyroid and sticky blood disorders.

@Sunny56 I didn’t have a fetal pole at 5 plus 4 and dates were spot on as ivf pregnancy and I had bleeding. At 6 plus 3 I got my
Pole but no hb. Then 7/3 and 8/3 all seems fine (for now). The waiting is terrible but you will Know next week and hope it’s good news x
