Really bad stomach pain

I'm 11 weeks pregnant with such bad stomach pains that come and go, but when they come they are really severe. Stop me from doing anything.
I went to the hospital on Tuesday and they pretty much said as I'm not bleeding and my 12 week scan is Monday they will wait till then. They mentioned something about dehydration but I drink a lot of water.
It's my second baby, had nothing like this with my first. Just wondered if anyone else has, is it stretching pain?

Do you really mean stomach pain, or is it abdominal pain? Exactly where are you feeling it? Is it like period cramps, is it lower left ( possible gas or constipation), lower right, possible gas or appendicitis, upper right (possible gall bladder), anywhere else, (possible round ligament/ stretching), lower central ( possible uti). Lots of choices, hopefully they have considered all of these and a scan would be useful.
Does gas/ constipation/ urinary infection ring any bells?

Did they examine you, test your urine, take your temperature? I know you must be worried, but hopefully they have checked everything. If it gets worse or you bleed, vomit, feel feverish, contact them again.

@endofthelinefinally thanks, it is like period pain, going round to my back when it's at its worst. They took my urine but nothing else, no examination.
I have had diarrhoea occasionally but I did at the start of my last pregnancy. Also feel very dizzy.

Obviously, nobody can diagnose over the internet, but did they talk to you about urine infection? Like fever, frequency, burning etc? I think maybe they suggested drinking lots in case it is the beginning of a uti. If you get worse I would call them again. Drink lots, rest and maybe try a heat pad on your back. Sadly, if it is the worst fear, threatened miscarriage, there is nothing anyone can do. But if you have bleeding you must go back.
I am sorry you are feeling poorly. These things always seem to happen at weekends, and it makes you feel unsupported and scared.

Thank you so much for such a lovely message. My other baby is only 10 months so have no time to feel sorry for myself Grin but fingers crossed Monday brings good news.

I meant to add, look up the symptoms of ectopic pregnancy, but I hope they would have considered that too.
I hope you are feeling a bit better and everything is ok at your scan.
