Hey everyone. So i made a curry and added some dried fenugreek leaves. Thought i would look up the benefits but was shocked to find you shouldnt take fenugreek when pregnant! Is this just the seeds and supplements? Anyone?

From what I've just googled you shouldn't eat them to excess, so unless your munching on handfuls of leaves every day you'll be fine 😊

Okay thankyou! Im still really worried 🤦‍♀️ wish i never looked it up now!

Yes it will be absolutely fine, it's actually very good for you & baby - lots of antioxidants!

Only thing I saw that was not recommended was fenugreek powder as a supplement as it has high doses. Leaves & seeds in moderation are perfectly safe. Enjoy the curry!

My midwife recommended fenugreek for milk supply! Same as non alcoholic beer!!

Fenugreek will be an absolute staple in meals in many countries across the world. It's absolutely fine to eat a curry flavoured with it, just avoid high potency capsules.
