I'm 38+1 and really fed up, I feel shocking, absolutely zero energy, constantly soaked in sweat, really nauseous, indigestion, headache and I feel awful on my 1 year old as I am NOT fun mummy at the moment! Just needed to vent a little, c section on Tuesday can't come soon enough! I can't function 😫

@boymama82 next Tuesday?! That's less than a week away!! 😊 hang in there!

boymama82 · 01/07/2021 12:49

I know, I'm ridiculous! I've made it this far and just started sulking in the last few days! 🙄🤣

Me!! I'm 37+5 and would do anything for it to be over already!! But I'm just literally waiting, and the thought of going past my due date is even more painful haha. Im so uncomfortable and getting headaches/feeling sickly/need a wee all the time/ getting anxious/have zero energy. The list could go on 😂😂
I just want it to be over so badly now, at least you have a date booked though!!

Thehenbunringsock · 01/07/2021 13:18

I feel you! Almost 37 weeks here and c section booked for next week. Feeling v poorly.

PurBal · 01/07/2021 13:25

Me! 39+2. "Promised" an early baby (literally the first woman in my family to go beyond 38 weeks in living memory, most are 36-37). Exhausted. Can't do anything. Can't plan. Really low mood, not felt this bad since I had depression. I know the baby is ok, movements are normal, but still worried because I'm so "late".

MyGrassIsBrowner · 01/07/2021 13:48

I feel you, although I'm only nearly 26 weeks.. god help me. I'm massive, PGP is giving me major jip, my 15 month old needs me ALL THE TIME and I cant give her the attention she needs. I've got a section booked for 4th October and honestly, I am so excited.
Good luck with your section hun! X

Littlepaws18 · 01/07/2021 13:56

I want to serve my little one his eviction notice... we are both ready for him to leave the 'nest' he's bashing my insides to the point he might actually make it out alien style, and my bladder, my pelvis, my blood pressure, my sugar levels, my arthritis in my toes, my diabetes, my stomach acid, my HG have all been kicking off to the point where I think pregnancy is actually a chronic illness! Only 36 weeks, I know I shouldn't grumble as it's the miracle of life..., but blooming heck I'm knackered, ill and full of self pity! Get out the world's smallest violin 🎻

So I feel for you sister!

AntiStars · 01/07/2021 14:42

38+4 and thoroughly fed up. Just cried on the sofa for no reason, have washing and cleaning to do but just can’t find the energy. The house is a constant mess which is annoying me. Husband doesn’t understand why I’m getting upset when due date is at least a week away and I’m lying around doing nothing... ahhhhh, just want it to finish now and to have my baby

Newmum110 · 01/07/2021 14:48

29 weeks & so fed up, still getting sick every day, constantly wrecked & everything aches. Feel bad wishing for it to be over but can't wait to feel normal again. Praying for an early baby.

I should not have read this thread! 😭 I'm only 14 weeks and I've found this really hard so far. No let-up in the nausea and exhaustion yet. All hormonal at this stage but I'm reading your posts at 20+/30+ weeks and wondering if I have the stamina for it!!

I'm with you I'm 13 weeks ! I don't think I've got the stamina for it either and don't think I should of read this one !

To all the other ladies on here ! You can do it ! If you have gotten this far your on the home stretch !

feistymumma · 01/07/2021 16:20

37+3 and I have really had enough. PGP, sciatica, hip pain, leg pain, indigestion, and the biggest belly on earth. Worst for me is that I need daily blood thinning injections and they hurt. Yesterday I literally screamed the house down with the pain, it was soooo bad. If it wasn't for the injection I wouldn't find it too bad but goodness gracious me.

Pinklilly · 01/07/2021 16:50

I'm 33+1 and truly fed up. Still suffering with hyperemesis. Still hoping the medicine may work (it never does). Also feels like everyone wants to meet up and I just want to curl up and hide.
Glad to see I'm not alone, you almost feel guilty for saying you love your baby but you are totally not in love with pregnancy.
Sometimes I just sit in the baby's room and stare at the clothes, this makes me calmer and feel a sense of its going to end at some point. But another part of me thinks I'm bonkers! Good luck ladies we have done so well so far

Thehenbunringsock · 01/07/2021 16:52

Those ladies who are 13-14 weeks, I felt rough AF until about 16 weeks and then was okay for many months. Don't worry, it's not all horrible!

Popcornbetty · 01/07/2021 17:04

I know how you feel op, i was 42 weeks with dc1 and felt like I was pregnant forever the time (was before the 41 week policy came in.) With dc2 i was only 37wks but it was just as well as i could hardly walk with spd.
I'm not having anymore and grateful i don't have to go through it again! The end results are worth it a million times over though!

helpmewiththisnew · 01/07/2021 17:43

Both mind were overdue and had to be induced. Get to 37 weeks and then I was pregnant for another 5 weeks 😬

First was born 13 days overdue and second 5 days over but only as I had a medical condition to justify it, they weren't rushing to induce me.

boymama82 · 01/07/2021 18:20

It is nice to know I'm not alone but so happy to not be alone! I also cried for nothing sat on the sofa the other day, this is my 2nd and last pregnancy, I'm 38 and too old for this, been pregnant forever after 3 losses and having a baby last year!

To the ladies who are early on please don't worry, there's a good stint in the middle where u will feel normal, I'd say 37 weeks onwards it gets tougher again. I've only eaten toast today as I feel sooooo sick and I never miss a meal 🙄🙄 my 1 year old is full of beans and trying to find ways to injure himself 😫😫

37 weeks and miserable, I have the shortest temper ever. I can't get comfortable in any position. My toddler keeps waking me up at 5am. I can't sleep for more than 2 hours without needing to pee.

And RESTLESS LEGS!!!!!!! Arghhhhhh

RachShad · 01/07/2021 18:35

Yeah those girls who are early on reading this, I would definitely say it gets better around the 16 weeks mark and I felt really well until around 36 weeks where I've just started feeling really fed up and can't wait for it to be over. I think its because you know it's nearly there so you can't stop thinking about it as well!! So can't wait for this baby to be out and I'm nearly 38 weeks, the thought of possibly having to wait till 42 weeks is unbareable haha

Thehenbunringsock · 01/07/2021 18:35

Restless leg is awful isn't it?

I got up four times for a wee last night 😑

Thanks for the kind and reassuring words RE us early girls! I wake up every morning hopeful that I'll magically feel right as rain, so it's good to hear it might well happen in a few weeks' time! Fingers crossed! Sending all of you that are nearly there all the very best for one last push before the pushing begins!

wingingit987 · 01/07/2021 18:56

38 weeks today. I'm so bloody tired and my toddler is killing me all morning at the park and he was still bouncing off the walls all afternoon 🙈
