Poorly, referred for growth scan, how to feel better!

Probably a bit of a sympathy post here…

I’m 27/28 weeks, have a suspected UTI so on antibiotics and went in for reduced movement yesterday- baby fine and started moving more or less as soon as I got there (typical!)

My husband had a bug at the weekend which I now have as well and it is absolutely vile. I feel so grim. So much pain, can’t keep food in but managing water (just). Have had 4 toilet trips already this morning Blush

I’ve been referred for a scan due to lower than expected fundal height when they did my obs yesterday. I’m not too worried at this stage as I know fundal height isn’t super accurate and I’m quite small anyway.

Was meant to have a routine appointment with MW today but I’ve cancelled it as I don’t want to go to my GP surgery and give anyone this vile vile bug

Scanning team have just rang to book me in and agreed to leave until later in the week or Monday given the bug. Again I don’t want to infect anyone else!

We hadn’t found out the sex so far as I didn’t want to (DH does). I’m wondering whether to find out at growth scan and tell him on our wedding anniversary next month for a bit of feel good news? Everything feels so crap at the minute so want to make us feel a bit better!!

Sorry ur feeling poorly, being preg Is hard enough without d&v added on top, just keep up the fluids drink and eat what Eva u fancy and can keep down
With the gender only find out if you want to, not coz Dh wants to. You both have to want to find out. If ur happy to them you could have something sweet and cheesy made like a wee baby grow or buy an outfit to give away the sex x

Hope u feel better soon
