Hi
This may sound like a silly question, but this is my first pregnancy so it's very new me.
I'm 14 weeks pregnant and was running around with my niece at the park. Without really thinking I went on a round about with her for a while and went really fast and felt quite dizzy after (as you would). In the moment I wasn't even thinking about pregnancy and now I'm really worried that this could've harmed the baby. I know you can't go on rollercoasters etc whilst pregnant but didn't think about park equipment.
Forgive me if I sound ridiculous! Some advice would be welcomed . Thanks

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

All fine, don't worry. So many parents on their second pregnancy do this.

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 26/06/2021 21:56

Yep that wouldn’t cause any damage- I understand your protectiveness but you aren’t made of glass. Relax!

popcorndiva · 26/06/2021 21:56

Yeah it's fine. Rollercoasters is because of the gravity force pushed against your bump amd the pressure of the bar, overhead straps.

LizJamIsFab · 26/06/2021 22:03

It’s fine, baby is in a bubble of fluid and will fine.
Rollercoasters have seatbelts across abdomen and can jolt suddenly, totally different event.

We had a major car accident when I was 16 weeks - 70 mph close th motorway job. No damage to the little one, we went to a and e and they reassured us that at around this gestation the little bean is comfy and in a lovely protective water cocoon. In was still definitely a relief when my midwife got a heart beat a few days later at a routine appointment.

You’ll be fine, probably just what you said a bit of dizziness. I sometimes get lightheaded without being on a round about x
