Ok, words of wisdom and a hand hold needed.

4 weeks after baby was born contraception failed us and I took the morning after pill the day after.

Since then have been using pull out method.

I took a freer today, 4 weeks after the failed contraception and had a very faint positive came up within 3 minutes

Tested after with a clear blue and got a Not Pregnant result.

I presume if I'd got pregnant 4 weeks ago then the line wouldn't be faint?

I have no idea what to think, help!

Well since you haven't been using contraception since then of course you could be.

The pull out method is not contraception

This. It still baffles me that people old enough to be mother’s and have sex STILL don’t get it.

Yes you could be pregnant. Most probably you are, a false positive is rare.

Maybe you conceived 4 weeks ago and the ClearBlue is on the fritz. Maybe you conceived in the time since, as you haven’t been using a reliable form of contraception.

Test again in a couple of days. If you’re not pregnant, now would be a good time to get a reliable form of contraception sorted.

Wolfiefan · 25/06/2021 19:12

Yep you could be. You’ve not been using contraception OP.

daydreamingnightowl · 25/06/2021 19:13

Let's blame the education system ay.

Oh shhhugar. Ok well I guess I'll test again in a few days as one was negative and one positive.

'The pull out method" Grin

Wolfiefan · 25/06/2021 19:15

How is this the fault of the education system? Confused

daydreamingnightowl · 25/06/2021 19:16

Thanks @cravingpistachiocake I actually have gone back on the pill as of last week.

My not so fool proof method was only temporary

This ??? ^

Surely you worked out how you actually get pregnant the 1st time round? Confused

daydreamingnightowl · 25/06/2021 19:22

I was just joking @wolfiefan

Most definitely, you could be pregnant. The pull out method is not a form of contraception.

Wolfiefan · 25/06/2021 19:36

Not sure how funny an unwanted pregnancy actually is.

Oh lighten up
daydreamingnightowl · 25/06/2021 19:56

Calm down love! Just because it's not planned doesn't mean they wouldnt be wanted. If I am pregnant, we'll be delighted.

OP posts:
Wolfiefan · 25/06/2021 20:01

But you’ve gone on the pill which suggests you don’t want another child yet. BTW not your love. And I don’t need to calm down. Just think you’re being irresponsible and flippant.

daydreamingnightowl · 25/06/2021 20:08

Genuinely sorry if I've touched a nerve @wolfiefan not my intention to upset anyone with my post.

I'm not an argumentative person so prefer to drop myself out now. Peace!
