Covid Vaccine- already had Covid

Hi all, I know this is done to death and ultimately it's my decision, but...

I had Covid back in December. I'm pregnant, 23 weeks and due in October.

I'm in two minds about getting the vaccine. I'm worried about the rise of the delta variant and really don't won't to get Covid in the third trimester.

What would you do in this instance?

I had covid last year in March (actually it was long covid - would not recommend). I had my first Pfizer jab pretty much as soon as I could (was 20 weeks) and am about to book my second. After what I went through I’m terrified of getting covid again, especially when pregnant. I technically have another 6 weeks to wait before my second jab but got invited the other day and am going to get it as soon as I can. Especially reading about the delta variant and the email from work today advising us to get tested due to a surge in cases locally.

Should also add, side effects from my first jab were a sore arm for a couple of days plus feeling hot and itchy for a day, although that might have been pregnancy hormones! No fever or anything.

I had covid in March last year and got the moderna vaccine a couple of weeks ago (I’m 21 weeks now). Had a sore arm then small faint rash on arm but no other real side effects. Don’t want covid in the 3rd trimester.

I’d get the jab.

I had mine this morning. It was the Pfizer. So far a slightly sore arm.

I am 26w and have only just been offered it as I'm 29. I was in two minds for a long time but feel good about being more protected and all being well will have my second before little one arrives.

Really appreciate these replies. The sensible thing to do is have the jab which I will do.

Hi, I had covid in December and currently 22 weeks pregnant. I’ve done the antibody tests and still testing positive for covid antibodies so holding off the vaccine for now as ultimately the same thing!
