Right can everyone settle my mind and tell me I'm being daft before I have a panic attack 🤣🤣.

I'm only 32 weeks pregnant with my second and I feel like my body is ready for labour. I'm having all the same pre labour symptoms as I did with my first... and my midwife confirmed that she's head down and engaging today 😩 I said does this mean she could come anytime? And the midwife said never say never.

Having intense pelvic pressure, weeing loads more, loss of appetite, loose bowels, insomnia. Generally don't feel like myself.

Am I winding myself up?? What's any of your experiences with this? My body is telling me she's coming in the next few weeks. Can you all tell me I'm just being daft please lol x

I don’t know OP but I’m 35 weeks on Friday and feel the same! I keep looking for parts of my plug as that happened a few days before for me! Maybe it’s a psychological thing with second babies?!

You haven’t sympathy. I don’t think you are being daft. 35 1/2 weeks and feeling much the same. Not sure if it’s wishful thinking that baby might be on his way. Baby is head down and low. Loads of pressure when I’m sitting or standing. Feeling nauseous. Braxton hicks are painful and almost every night, to the point where I’m breathing and rocking on the floor. Whenever baby moves there’s pressure and pain down below. And lightning crotch. Didn’t have any of this first time round so wondering if baby might be early. Otherwise it’s going to be a rough few weeks for us all!!

I was like that with my second, she was engaged at 32 weeks and was told she will be early.
..still went 2 weeks over Envy

I’m 32 weeks and all of a sudden the reality seems to have hit of this could happen any time! It wouldn’t even sound like that must of a ridiculous story either, babies are born early all the time. My mum didn’t help the other day saying ‘I was just thinking last night, you could have this baby anytime and I probably won’t know til he’s here’. I’m like that’s really not what I need to hear right now 🙈 His head was really low and it was causing everything to be so uncomfortable (walking, sitting etc) but he seems to have come back up a bit. I think they can be engaged for a really long time without anything happening

I wouldn't mind having her early (ish) it's just the thing of not knowing when it's going to happen that's driving me insane. Think I might have a "nesting" day and get all her stuff sorted and pack my hospital bag just incase.

Be just my luck to go over now I've said all this!

Glad I'm not the only one feeling this way x
