Hello, I'm pregnant with my first and it's very early still so keeping it quiet.

I've started getting random short bursts of feeling nauseous this week, but not enough to make a real impact on my day and I'm not physically sick and minor stomach cramps. Is this a sign of things to come though in terms of morning sickness etc?
I also keep waking up at 4am!! Is this normal?

Hey congrats! I'm 8 weeks and had the same symptoms as you at 5 weeks. The insomnia is no joke, I'm still waiting for that tiredness to kick in that everyone else seems to talk about. Nausea is much more frequent now, and only seems to go when I eat or sleep. Not actually been sick yet though!

Congrats to you too!
Yeah the 4am wake up calls really suck!

This was me and now I'm 8 weeks and have HG, currently on anti sickness meds and 10lbs down- I wish you more luck than me!

@Amijustagrump sorry to hear that it's that bad for you. I won't grumble about gaining weight from constant eating when this is the alternative. Hope you get some relief soon

@Tangfastic91 I think its just the luck of the draw isn't it! Can't be helped and as long as we both end up with healthy babies then it'll all be worth it Smile luckily losing 10lbs doesn't put me in any risk and my midwife isn't too concerned yet!
