I was told to wait three years post section to TTC due to risk of maternal/foetal mortality (and not allowed to attempt vbac or labour due to risk of rupture on scar)

Three years are up. We want to TTC but scared of the risks. Anyone else has an emergency T incision?

I have found very very little info on Google about this scar, and what I have found was grim. My previous hospital was horrendous (hence the near death of me and ds) so they can't shed any light. anyone with any good news with a t incision?

Also please keep it kind. No replies along the lines of "don't do it" unless you speak from experience. Not asking for judgement, just asking for actual experiences. Tia

Ask GP to refer you in advance to obstetric team to discuss your options/ risks

Hello.
I had an emergency t incision c section four years ago. Surprisingly I got pregnant one year later and was very scared. I read my surgeons notes and it stated I could safely get pregnant one year later if I'd like and have two more children.
I was so nervous the whole pregnancy as I'd read about uterine rupture but most of the pregnancy was pretty normal I'd say. However in the last few weeks maybe between week 33 till week 38 my c section scar area did feel sore . Was so scared but I was booked in for my section at week 38 which went well.
Fast forward another 2 years from that I'm pregnant again at 34 weeks and doing fine. No pain in scar area as of yet .
So two pregnancies four years on.....hope this helps. If u have any questions please let me know.
