Hey all

I have a telephone gp app at some point this morning and am awaiting the call. Just wondering if anyone has any advice or is experiencing the same thing?

The pain started a few nights ago, it was really sharp at lower right side, woke me up at 3am it was so intense i had to take a paracetamol and have a warm bath at that time. It eased off after a while,the next day i had a few twinges, nothing as terrible. I didnt want to over react by ringing the gp, as i have assumed its trapped wind as i know how painful it can be, last night and this morning i have got the pain not as bad but it is there and hurts more when i sit up or change position. I did ring the gp today for a chat just to be safe. Does it sound like trapped wind?? My bowel movements have been fine sorry for tmi

Any one have any idea what it could be?

Thank you

Round ligament pain. Horrible but not serious.

@Trustynickname
Once you're past 20 weeks you'll find your bowel/bladder playing all sorts of tricks with you as the baby is now pushing them to the side. You've got less room so imagine having trapped wind but your intestines are being squished!
It doesn't sound like pgp, I had it badly when I was pregnant and that was very much muscle related feeling rather than organs.
Try not to worry - your baby is going to keep taking up more room! Just make sure it doesn't transpire into things like - hurting when you pee etc x

A sudden sharp pain on the right side can be appendicitis. Did your GP get back to you?
