Loose dental implant in pregnancy

Has anyone had a loose dental implant in pregnancy? I have quite a while to go still (in second trimester) and implant feels loose. Dentist doesn't want to X-ray due to risk of baby and I don't know what treatment they can give me anyway if there is a problem! Would any implant work be covered on NHS as well as part of free dental treatment due to pregnancy? Worried about it. Hated the procedure first time!

It depends if it’s the crown or the implant that’s loose. Normally it’s just the crown that can be re-cemented / screwed back in place but if it’s the actual metal implant then you may need an x-ray to establish treatment plan. Did you have it done privately or on the nhs? X

NHS but through a teaching hospital in London about 8 years ago now. My dentist doesn't wanna X-ray me so I'm not sure if it's the implant or just the crown and I'm not sure if I'd rather know! X
