So I know aches and pains are part and parcel of pregnancy but today I'm getting a very familiar, persistent dragging ache in my abdomen.... genuinely feels like I'm expecting the mother of all periods :(
Is this normal? I have no other symptoms and at my last scan (nearly 2 weeks ago) all was perfect and well.

Glad you posted this question as I'm currently experiencing kind of the same... not so much cramp like pain but a heavy/pressure dull achy feeling... I'm 15+3 and it's kind of gone off today but the feeling was there for most of the weekend... hoping it's just stretching/growing 😀🤞

@Colinthecaterpillar35 Yes! It's exactly the same as me. Seems mightily unfair given that it's the one time I should NOT be getting PMT! Haha. Yeah I was hoping it was just growing pains too, I hate to pester the midwives with every little twinge but I'm so nervous due to my previous miscarriage.

I'm 26 weeks and had period type pains at the beginning of pregnancy. Around 14-16 weeks I had sharp, stretching pains, very different to period pains. I would ring your midwife as I think period type cramps can indicate labour but it's very unlikely to be that x
