Area of bleed

I had a scan this morning as was concerned about pain. Baby turned out to be absolutely perfect with the cutest little heartbeat. I’m later than I thought and have been estimated at 6+6.

The ultrasound technician said there was a small area of bleed. When I questioned, she said it was so small it’s not worth mentioning and they’re very common. It wasn’t documented on my notes so I’m sure it is extremely small but I am a natural born worrier. Anyone had one before and all been ok?

I haven’t had it but it pops up alllll the time on pregnancy threads! It really is completely normal and very common.

Congrats op!
Sometimes there can be a tiny pocket of blood from implantation.
As pp there’s a lot of people who have experienced this lately!

I had a hematoma at 7 wks which is like what you described just bigger. It resolved by 12 wks, I'm now 28 wks and all is going well. As others have said it is really common. Smile

Thanks @Crazylemon86 they didn’t even put it on notes as so small nor give me guidance for it. Should I avoid anything in particular?

@Megzj91 I had some bleeding for a few days so all I did was not lift my 2 year old and carry anything heavy. Everything else I carried on as normal

@Crazylemon86 that’s great. I’ve not had any bleeding (touch wood it stays that way) but have been taking it easy and won’t be doing any heavy lifting etc if I can help it!
