27 weeks pregnant diarrhoea

Hi sorry if TMI but I’ve had diarrhoea and cramping for over 24 hours now. I couldn’t sleep last night for it and same again tonight. Has anyone had a bug or anything and did you go to doctor? I’m going to call them in the morning but feeling awful!

Erugh, I had the worst food poisoning at 27 weeks. It was horrific and I felt so ill. I rang maternity as trying to get hold of my community midwife was impossible and they said to stay home and keep drinking. If it carried on another 24hrs to go to a&e because they didn't want potential bug in maternity. In hindsight I should probably of gone to a&e but it was the middle of lockdown. Ring maternity, they'll tell you what's best. I hope you feel better, it's awful x

Thank you @chelle862 I spoke to midwife and doctor today they think gastroenteritis 🤢 will keep drinking lots and eat plain food just hope I sleep tonight thanks for your advice! X
