Hello!
I’m 24 weeks pregnant and on 150mg of aspirin due to low PAPP-A. My age group can now get a vaccination, but I cannot find an answer to whether taking aspirin will somehow interfere with it? Is it safe to get the vaccine while on aspirin which is obviously a blood thinner? Has anyone got any idea or is in similar situation? Thanks! 😊

I'm on aspirin and clexane, I'm getting the vaccine on Thursday, I wasn't initially going to get it while pregnant but my pregnancy has turnt in2 a high risk pregnancy and my consultant has advised getting the vaccine, no mention of any issue with the medication I'm on, hopefully someone else will come along who has maybe had the vaccine, I never even thought of the blood thinners.

I had my vaccine at the weekend (35 weeks). They asked me if I was on blood thinning medication, and I said "baby aspirin due to pregnancy" - he said that was completely fine. I think if anything it's a good thing - as you're already taking something to lessen your risk of blood clots?

I take 150mg aspirin a day and had my Pfizer vaccine a couple of weeks ago at 23 weeks. I was asked if was taking any blood thinners, so I told them, and they said that was absolutely fine.
