Just looking for stroller and wanted to get some inspiration.

Which stroller are you planning to buy for baby, or have brought in the past and really liked.

I've also got the cossatto giggle 2 travel system, can't remember the name of the design but its blue with yellow, white and blue paint splodges on it. I've not got a baby yet to test it with but so far I like..
...it was £280 brand new from online4baby.
..its not too heavy for me to move around (I have RA and this can be quite hard sometimes)
...its very easy to change parts, or collapse it to store it/put it in the car
...DH is much taller than me and its still comfortable for him to deal with too.

It's my first baby so hoping I will continue to like it as much once I'm actually using it for baby :)

We've gone for the Ickle Bubba Stomp V3.
Bundle from online4baby including the system, car seat and isofix base, travel cot, bouncer and high chair for £500

With the idea being we'll upgrade the car seat at 6 months ish

My kids are teens now but we never bothered with the big fancy prams just went with a lie back stroller from day one. Later on a friend gave me her old really basic stroller which was great to use for public transport and holidays and I did get a second hand double stroller for a short while.

It seems silly money to spend that much on something they will use for such a short time.

@Greenbks the lie flat feature is only for out of the car, it has to be sat upright inside the car. It’s good if you’re out and about as they’re not supposed to be sat up for too long. It reclines when clicked on the pram too.

I'm another to recommend a Cossato travel system. We have the Wow one I think it is. Still gets occasional use for my soon-to-be 3 yr old. I don't have anything negative to say about it tbh both me and DH love it to the point where I'm genuinely looking forward to using it more often again when no.2 is born in the autumn! We did get a very very good deal on it though as we bought it heavily reduced when Toys R Us were closing down.

I brought the bugaboo cameleon travel system and maxi cosi car seat. Haven't used it yet though

Ickle bubba :)

Think I’ve decided on a silver cross pioneer, mainly for the good reviews for rural living. We’re on a farm which has decent enough tracks but they’re certainly not road-smooth so need something to cope with that.
Mind you, I’m also getting a sling and have a strong feeling that’ll be used more everyday.

We’ve already got the car seat, the joie isize ispin i-whatever the hell else, which obviously stays in the car so I’m planning on just switching them between the two rather than worrying about a car seat I can take out and clip onto the pram frame.

We've just ordered the Doona 2 in 1 car seat and buggy. Can't comment yet on it as it is being delivered today. We weren't keen on spending too much on a travel system, I think they are such rip offs

swiftt · 09/06/2021 07:41

I found the one I wanted (Nuna Mixx) and then trawled Facebook marketplace. Found one that was absolutely immaculate with everything included for about a third of the price it was new. Baby things are so much cheaper second hand, and most of the time they’ve barely even been used! Might be worth a look. I initially said I wanted my pram new, but budget wise my choice ended up being a pram/system I wasn’t so keen on that was brand new, or a much better pram that I really wanted second hand.

We're getting the Oyster 3 travel system with a Cybex cloud Z car seat which swivels 360 and also lies flat so baby can stay in it longer.

It's super easy to put down and isn't too heavy. X

I've had a few Blush. I'd pick the Baby Jogger City Premier for day to day, and the Babyzen YoYo+/2 for travel.
