Hey ladies,

So im currently 20 weeks pregnant, and honestly I'm so anxious. Before getting pregnant I was quite a big girl, carry all my weight in my mid section.

Now im 20 weeks, I'm still not feeling any baby movement (have prosterior placenta), my stomach feels the same as before falling pregnant just fat and flabby (sorry for the description). I use my home doppler, if it wasn't for hearing the HB I wouldn't even know im pregnant.

Im really really worried that baby isn't growing properly because I'm not noticing any changes in myself, and could use some reassurance 😔 thanks ladies.

Hey, didn't want to read and run. With my first I didn't feel any movement until I was around 22 weeks. That being said if you are getting worried please ring your midwife for advice. It's what they are there for and they would rather you rang them then sit at home worrying.

It’s still pretty early to be feeling anything, give it a couple of weeks.
Your bump will soon come!
But as pp any worries give your midwife a call

Congratulations on your pregnancy. It’s still early days my lovely! I was freaking out this time as I felt movement much earlier in my last pregnancy - at about 15 weeks. This time it was literally the day before my 20 week scan before I felt anything at all! It’s tough not to worry but just take it a day at a time. The bump didn’t really “pop” for me until nearer 28 weeks either. Right now I’m 32 weeks, I feel like a walrus and I’m getting kicked hard in the ribs!! x

Hey @babydreamer24.

I can’t really offer any advice I’m afraid as this is my first baby. But I just wanted to say I feel exactly the same. No movement. No actual bump - just flab!! 😂 and the daily anxiety that something is wrong. But you’re absolutely not alone 😘. Im just hoping everything is ok xxx

Glad someone feels the same! It's such a terrifying time. When is your next scan?
