Hi ladies, I’m hoping to find some relief on here as the phone call I just had practically gave me nothing at all and I suffer from major health anxiety.
A nurse just called me and said my bloods came back high for gestational diabetes, and I’m to be seen on Thursday at the hospital along with my scan and consultant appointment as I also inject clexane for blood clots. What do I do in the mean time? Do I carry on as normal? I’m not getting any exercise I’ve been bed ridden for 4 weeks, dizziness and sickness. I’m so fed up and starting to feel depressed x

In the meantime I would probably just try not to eat any sweets, cake or full sugar coke etc. No need to cut down on bread, potatoes etc at this stage until you get your blood sugar monitor and have spoken to the dietician.
