Hi ladies, has anyone had a numb spot/area at the top of their bump?
I'm 32w and have have a weird numbness at the top of my bump, just below my sternum for the last few days. Although it's numb, it also kinda hurts and feels a bit itchy. But definitely numb still! It's a very strange feeling!
Would love to hear if any of you have experienced something similar, and if you know how of if I can get the feeling back?
My assumption is the feeling will come back after birth, but would love to know if there's anything I can do before then 😊 x

I had this! It really annoyed me and I used to find myself rubbing it all the time to try to get some feeling back in it. As far as I remember it went back to normal immediately after birth, I certainly didn't notice it any more.

Yes! I had this from about 28 weeks, I assumed it was because baby was pinching a nerve or something. I’m now 10 days post partum and it’s still numb!

Oh my god yes I thought it was just me!! Sort of along where my bra sits right in the middle. It’s been numb for weeks and no matter how much I stimulate it to try and get feeling back into it, nothing works. Hope it goes back to normal after birth! (30 weeks currently)

Yes! Same with me. Sometimes it almost feels sore (but numb) and I blow on it to cool it down and get some relief! No idea what it is. I’m going to follow and see if anyone has an answer.
Glad it’s not totally abnormal though! X
