Does this sound right for first gd clinic appointment?

Hi
I took a gtt a couple of weeks ago and was told my fasting level was fine but after the glucose drink sugar level was higher than it should be and dr told me I have gd.
I have been given an appointment to see the diabetes nurse at hospital this week as well as a growth scan (baby is measuring a bit large for dates) but I am confused because along with my appointment details I have been sent a sheet asking me to fast from 11pm the night before this first appointment. Does this mean I’m taking a second gtt even tho my first came back positive? I’m going to phone the antenatal clinic tomorrow and try to find out but they aren’t the easiest to get in touch with!

I’ve never heard anybody having to do a second one if they already got a positive but just don’t know what to think. Has it just been sent because my last growth scan showed large for dates? They do know I’ve already had a positive gtt though!

Just don’t want to be fasting again and then get there to find I didn’t have to!
Has anyone ever had to do it twice if they already got a positive? Thanks for any help! X
