Aspirin in pregnancy

Iv been on aspirin since around 12 weeks i think (iv been on it that long i actually cant remember LOL) anyway im 35 weeks now and just wondering if those who were on it when did u stop taking it?

I stopped once baby was born in both pregnancies

Oh i wa so hopping i could before lol, im starting to hate popping them everyday

I was on from 8 weeks until 37+6
Don't stop unless told though
My consultant said to stop then
Currently 39+2

@jupitermars1345 no i will keep taking them till im told to stop, i just wondered how long people were on them

My midwife told me to keep taking until baby is born x

I was on low dose aspirin all the way until baby was born for pre eclampsia (had it with previous pregnancy). Was told to take continuously until DS arrived.

I was also on for previous pre eclampsia with my first and told to stop at 37+6
I always find it funny how the advice is so different .
My midwife did say they base it on a individual person's needs for it

I had to start taking clexane at about 36 weeks and was told to stop the aspirin then.

I'm on 150mg for low Papp-a, I have to take it until baby's born x

It’s to prevent pre-eclampsia, so needs to be taken until the baby is born

Also on 150mg for low Papp-a and assuming I’m just taking it until birth as I haven’t been told otherwise.
